Two brand new red runs, ‘Gran Roc’ and ‘Vallone 5’ have been created in Breuil-Cervinia, located within the Pancheron and Cretaz ski areas. Further improvements have been made to the artificialsnowmaking systems in the Valtournenche area, supplied with water from high alpine lake located at 2,333m.


Courmayeur sees new cable car cabins making an entrance, as the main Courmayeur “Gigante” cable cars have undergone a face lift!

Flying high over the access road leading into this glamorous winter paradise, these brand new cabins boast sleek and elegant lines – they would fit perfectly onto a ski lift catwalk.

The 34-year-old cabins are past their best though, and will now experience a more grounded life on Italian soil in the snow park!

The creation of two new connecting pistes links Val Veny to Chercrouit Pass. A brand new snow park is also being built at 2,000m in the heart of the resort and free WIFI is now available at all meeting points.


Construction work for the new cable car of Mont Blanc is running ahead of schedule and will see completion in 2015. A true feat of engineering conducted at altitude and in the most extreme conditions – once complete, it will be the crowning glory of all Aosta Valley’s lifts.


Monterosa sees the replacement of the Stafal-Gabiet gondola lift with a new 8-seat gondola system and the dramatic modernisation of the Gabiet-Salati Pass gondola lift with new 12-seat cabins.
